About Farm Stand
The Stelzer family took leadership roles in the Hood River Farm Stand in 2015, transforming the smaller initial location into an established family-owned health food store, and, since then, our company has achieved remarkable progress towards its vision. Some of these objectives that have already been met included creating a kitchen with 95% organic ingredients, establishing Farm Stand as a non-GMO zone, creating a natural pharmacy, and collaborating with local suppliers. We have also have conducted classes and events that promote education in healthy and abundant living.
Upon relocating to The Dalles to be closer to family, siblings Raya, Zeke, and Bets Stelzer recognized an unmet need in the community; consequently, in partnership with the Stelzer’s family business, Azure Standard, Farm Stand expanded to a second location: Farm Stand in the Dalles. Along with the new store, The Alleyway also opened in The Dalles as our first organic coffee shop. Farm Stand's vision is to offer the community access to better health and lifestyle options, standing as a hub for healthy living in the area.
A bit about the faces behind Farm Stand
BETS
As one of eleven children born to trailblazers in the health and wellness community, Bets Stelzer inherited a passion for healthy food and entrepreneurship. For the past decade, she has been at the helm of Farm Stand in Hood River, taking on the role of CEO since 2017.
Alongside her siblings, Bets has made numerous strides toward her goals, cultivating a genuine love for growth and innovation along the way. This journey has allowed her to build a strong sense of community and fulfillment. Today, she calls The Dalles home, where she enjoys life with her wife and their three children.
ZEKE
Zeke is the day-to-day manager of Farm Stand in The Dalles. He spends much of his day moving quickly about the store doing all the miscellaneous tasks it takes to keep Farm Stand looking good. With his degree in Business and previous experience in management, he brings knowledge of how to keep things running smoothly to the team. He has a positive attitude and a love of connecting with the community which makes his job a perfect fit.
Zeke lives in The Dalles with his wife Bailey and son Nolan. He loves spending time with his family as much as possible and will often have his son working with him. He's passionate about healthy living, family, sports, and people. You may catch him running around town or in a volleyball tournament.
RAYA
Raya is a leader who specializes in communications and quality. She radiates light and positivity, which inspires those around her to work together and to be the best version of themselves. She is our friend and family-appointed lady of natural remedies. She has knowledge and passion for helping all keep a thriving medicine cabinet on hand, which helps her to cultivate a beautiful "Pharm Stand" within each of our stores.
Raya loves her mama time with her fun-loving and endlessly creative children, Evi and Silas. She can often be found in nature or connecting with those close to her heart.
